This Pre-Campaign Assessment (Feasibility) and capital campaign were being conducted to secure funds toward a $6.1 million vision to build a new family YMCA facility in Wilmington, OH.  A key component of this campaign will be the sale of the existing facility to Wilmington College.

 

My responsibility as Senior Project Manager included leading Pre-Campaign Assessment, Project Development, Board Solicitation and securing the lead gift of $2 million plus 50 acres of land. 

 

The Campaign was put on hold after my as the sale of the existing facility to Wilmington College was not proceeding and the necessary collaboration with the local hospital was on hold due to the resignation of the hospital’s CEO during the negotiation process.  The community was not in a position to support the new facility without these two key campaign components.
