“A capital campaign is one of the most important parts of the growth of any YMCA.  It is also a task that cannot be done solely by the Executive Director, CEO, YMCA staff or volunteers.  Regardless of background or experience, it is critical to have “wise council.”

“ There are many companies that specialize in helping with the Capital Campaign process, and selecting the right one is never easy.  We were very fortunate to have had Mark Keramidas of Heritage Funding Solutions work on our team.  Had it not been for the determination, patience, and step by step council, our campaign would not have been a success.  Mark’s ability to “fit right in” quickly made him an accepted and trusted part of our community, another critical factor in success.  He was with us every step of the way, making sure we stayed the course in reaching our goal.  Mark was always available and willing to help when things seemed at times overwhelming and even frustrating.  His steady but easygoing personality helped make the campaign process a rewarding experience rather than what could have been a daunting task.  I cannot recommend Mark and his company more highly.”

Heritage Funding Solutions, Inc. served as fund raising counsel for the Staunton-Augusta Family YMCA capital campaign.  The vision of the YMCA to “Shape the Future” of Staunton and Augusta County by providing more programs for youth and teens, help seniors live a full and enjoyable life and help families reconnect with one another has been successfully completed.  A 29,000 square foot facility expansion and renovation will give the YMCA the tools to accomplish this goal, allowing them to work with many more special groups, particularly improving the fight against obesity among both children and adults.
